Domestic Moves

Our basic service offers relocation of household effects from current home to new house.

Extras at no charge but required to be ordered:

• Padded suite covers
• Portable wardrobes
• Carpet protectors

The option with the basic service includes:
Taking down curtains, emptying loft, dismantle and move grandfather clock, empty cellar, roll and move unfastened carpets, upright piano, dismantle/reassemble furniture, disconnect washing machine.

Basic Service + Part Packing
This service includes all of the above plus the packing of all china, glass and breakables. Anything packed and unpacked by our staff is automatically covered by our insurance, whereas breakables packed by owner may be refused if the subject of a claim.

Basic Service + Full Packing
This includes all of the above plus packing of all books, kitchen contents, audio and video tapes, linen and bedding, indoor plants and sundries.

Our staff can pack the contents of an average home within one day, whereas a homeowner may need several days or even weeks, due to everyday interruptions to do the same.

Flemings have two types of storage:

Container Storage
Where we bring the containers to your door, load your goods and bring back to our store where they are stored in our purpose built warehouses and is not disturbed until you are ready for the containers to be returned to you.

Self Storage
These are self contained units (all ground floor) of different sizes and are available for a weekly rental. Bring the goods in yourself or hire us to bring the goods in for you, (as we are doing this all the time we will get more in a unit). You have your own key and FREE access is available during office hours.

Metal Containers
20’ Sea Containers, once used, strong secure storage area with 24 hour access if required.
